Namaste, bettervest-Community!

My name is Rohit Sen and I come from New Delhi, India. I will be joining the bettervest team as Prüfingenieur and Projektmanager from July 2016.

I am a Mechanical Engineer (Kurukshetra University, India, 2007) specializing in Renewable Energy (MSc., University of Dundee, Scotland, 2011). I have been professionally active in the area of clean and sustainable energy development projects over a period of four years. In this time, I had the opportunity to work with many dynamic and inspiring professional colleagues from Scotland, India and Germany.

Most of the time, I have been working on research, project development and the implementation of sustainable energy projects. Thus, I am aware of how important the role of financial funding for such projects is, with respect to various national and global goals and initiatives on energy efficiency, environmental preservation, climate change, etc. Therefore, when I came across bettervest and their unique business model of generating funds for energy efficiency and sustainable development projects in Germany and abroad via crowdfunding, it instantly piqued my interest.

At bettervest, working with a young and dynamic team, working for the betterment of humanity, I would like to make use of my know-how and at the same time learn new things every day.
