Vor allem die kollaborative Wertsch\u00f6pfung \u2013 in Form von Crowdsourcing, Crowdfunding und Crowdinvesting \u2013 beginnt sich nun als neuer Modus Operandi der vernetzten Wissensgesellschaft zu etablieren.<br \/>\nEine Vielzahl von Einzelpersonen leistet dabei einen kleinen Beitrag zu einem gr\u00f6\u00dferen, gemeinsamen Ziel der Gruppe. W\u00e4hrend es in der Fr\u00fchphase des Ph\u00e4nomens vornehmlich um das gemeinsame Er- und Bearbeiten von digitalen Informationen ging (siehe Wikipedia, Linux, etc. ), werden in j\u00fcngster Zeit immer h\u00e4ufiger Projekte im realen Raum verwirklicht. Als Gegenleistung gab es bislang meist ideelle Werte (Status- bzw. Imagegewinn, pers\u00f6nliche Erf\u00fcllung) oder Sachleistungen (Premium-Ausgabe eines Produkts).<br \/>\nDie US-Amerikanische Crowdfunding Plattform Kickstarter.com gilt als die Keimzelle des Prinzips. Hier wird h\u00e4ufig die Serienfertigung physischer Produkte, aber auch die Umsetzung digitaler Produkte mit Hilfe des Kapitals der Crowd realisiert, was allein im Jahr 2011 zu Gesamtinvestitionen in H\u00f6he von knapp 100 Millionen US-Dollar, verteilt auf rund 11.000 erfolgreiche Projekte f\u00fchrte. In Deutschland hat sich vor allem das sogenannte equity based Crowdfunding oder auch Crowdinvesting etabliert, bei dem die Investierenden in Form einer typischen stillen Beteiligung an den Gewinnen des Finanzierten partizipieren. Hierzulande gibt es inzwischen eine Vielzahl von Plattformen, deren Ziel es ist, das Gr\u00fcndungskapital f\u00fcr Startup-Unternehmen auf diese Weise einzusammeln.
