Solutions (Zambia) Ltd (ECS) <\/i>is a <b>manufacturer and distributor<\/b> of highly efficient and innovative <b>micro gasification stoves <\/b>and <b>biomass pellets <\/b>to households, restaurants and businesses in Zambia. Cooking with energy-efficient cookstoves fuelled by biomass pellets is a <b>cost-effective and healthy alternative<\/b> for cooking for local people, greatly improving their quality of life. In addition, the pellets are made from <b>waste from pine and eucalyptus plantations<\/b> at the <i>ECS<\/i> production facility in Ndola, Zambia, making them a fully renewable resource in the circular economy. \n<i>Emerging Cooking Solutions<\/i> will use the loan to purchase materials for the production and distribution of <b>400 innovative and highly energy-efficient biomass cookstoves. <\/b>Funds will support the procurement of key stove components and electronics, as well as <b>investments in pellet factory equipment<\/b> and upgrades to <b>increase manufacturing capacity<\/b>. However, there are still major hurdles to overcome, as <b>only 40% of Zambia&#8217;s population has access to electricity<\/b>. Moreover, this shift requires an adjustment in cooking habits, as different appliances must be used. One alternative are <b>biomass-powered microgas stoves <\/b>and the accompanying <b>biomass pellets<\/b>, which are distributed by <i>Emerging Cooking Solutions<\/i>. The business model of <i>Emerging Cooking Solutions <\/i>has gained visibility and investment in recent years. Inspired by the people, opportunities, and the country, they chose Zambia to establish their business.<\/p><p><i>Emerging Cooking Solutions<\/i> is a <b>distributor and manufacturer <\/b>of <b>energy-efficient cooking solutions<\/b> for households, restaurants, and institutions, with the vision of making <b>clean cooking solutions affordable and accessible for all Zambian households<\/b>, reducing deforestation, and mitigating negative climate impacts.<\/p><p>The company distributes <b>microgasification stoves <\/b>under the <b>SupaMoto brand<\/b> and is also a manufacturer and distributor of its <b>own microgasification stoves, the SupaMoto Microgasifying Biomass Stove 4kW, and SupaMoto-Pellets<\/b>. The pellets are produced from waste generated by pine and eucalyptus plantations at the <i>ECS<\/i> production facility in Ndola, Zambia.
